Stone Meadow Subdivision is located in Southwest Springfield, MO on 130 acres.  It was developed in 1996 by Stenger Communities.  The subdivision itself is incredibly well maintained and I believe one of the finest non-golf course communities in Springfield.  It is gated offering wonderful security to its residents and the amenities it offers are top notch.  If you simply take a drive through the neighborhood you will see a nice variety of upscale architecture, as well as an incredible pride in ownership in the landscaping.  

Many of the homes in Stone Meadow back up to one of several common areas in the development, giving you a nice feeling of space, and the developers did a nice job of keeping a great number of the trees in tact.  I love this neighborhood and would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying a quality home in South Springfield.

The pool area features a large swimming pool, wading pool and hot tub.   Also, a lovely open-air pavilion is available for family fun and relaxation.

 In a more secluded location, a picnic area offers residents barbecue grills and picnic tables amid a serene, natural setting of tall trees and lush foliage.
